Diane from New York:
Diane is from Brooklyn, NY. She loves horses and has always wanted to work with animals since she was a young girl of 15. When she was in high school, she got a part time job as a dog bather. Throughout the years, she learned this trade from her fellow groomers. Eventually, she bought a dog kennel and grooming shop in New Jersey. Diane then moved to Arizona with her husband of over 30 years and they have two children. She bought Canine Preferred, an existing business of 20 years. Diane is very creative, artistic, and loving. Diane is very excited about Canine Preferred and looks forward to spending time with you and your pet to find out what best suits your pet's needs.
Toni from Ohio:
Toni lived and worked in various independent grooming shops in Arizona. She has been a grooming professional for over 20 years. She specializes in Standard Poodles and Wheatons, but she will groom or service any other type of dog that is needed. Toni and her husband have been married since 1966 and currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is very artistic and loves every dog she does. Toni states, " I'm one of those lucky people who loves going to work in the morning. I can't imagine doing anything else for a living."
Little Sarah from Las Vegas:
When she got to Arizona, she married her sweetheart and owns a beautiful Great Dane. She started out as a young girl in a grooming shop, much like Diane, as a bather. She learned her profession from her fellow groomers. She came to Canine Preferred in 2004 at the age of 22 and she has become an excellent groomer. She helps Diane run the front desk. She enjoys doing dogs of all sizes and is an asset to the business.
Tammy from Arizona:
Tammy has lived in Arizona for 5 years. She has spent over 20 years training and working with horses. Her love of horses has taught her a lot about patience, kindness, gentleness and sensitivity. Over the last 5 years she has worked as a canine dental hygienist. Diane met Tammy approximately 6 months ago while performing this dentistry. Diane felt that this would be a beneficial service for her canine patrons. She cleans both dogs and cats teeth while they are awake. This is a very specialized service that will enhance your pets health. Caring for your pets teeth is as important for your pet as it is for you. Absolutely no anesthesia is used. So many pet owners choose this service over the anesthesia method, because it's safer for their pets. Tammys expertise is any type of dog and sometimes cats. Sara Louise from California:
Sara is originally from San Jose, California. She went to the Univ. of Arizona in 1978 under a Synchronized Swimming sports scholarship where she met her now husband, then best friend, and they got married in 1993. Sara Louise was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at the Univ. of Arizona in 2003. Sara started grooming in 1999 and has been with Canine Preferred ever since. She is an excellent groomer and very thorough in her abilities. She loves all dogs but has a special place in her heart for grooming Long Hairs.
